It’s Music Monday. We’ve compiled a list of new music that we think is worth sharing. The timing couldn’t be better, coming the day after the close to Imagine Music Festival downtown. Hopefully some of these (all of these?) will help you get through your Monday 😉

KEYS N KRATES

On the heels of a 2015 that has already seen them make their Coachella, Tomorrowland, and EDC Las Vegas debuts, as well as the release of their new single “Save Me” with acclaimed UK vocalist Katy B, Keys N Krates are back to announce that they will be releasing a new EP this Fall via Dim Mak. To celebrate, the band is sharing another a new single from the EP titled “I Know U.

JULIAN JORDAN

20-year-old Dutch prodigy, Julian Jordan gives us a beautiful new single, “Lost Words”.  For the first 30 seconds one might assume that the entire song will be lighter and more uplifting, but it quickly transitions into an aggressive electro-house buildup.  The drop is extremely unique and can be described as a combination of euphoric, progressive-house with driving electro-house synths.  Following the drop, it takes you back into an emotional breakdown and then a final drop that mirrors the first. “Lost Words” has the ability to take everyone on a musical journey, and will leave its listeners at a loss for words.

THE YOUNG WILD

Exhilarating and dynamic, THE YOUNG WILD are a buzz band primed for success. The San Diego based band are poised to win over the entire country on their coast to coast tour with ZZ WARD, beginning *tonight* in Dallas, TX. The band adopt the cool chime of synth-pop and 80’s rock, cut with an allegiance to soul, Motown and precision grooves. It’s pop songwriting at its finest and the band’s live shows bring infectious energy to the stage. You can hear their debut single “Not A One” above.

JAHKOY

Continuing the success of his this year’s singles “Still In Love” and “Let It Be,” producer and singer-songwriter JAHKOY breaks into the mainstream with his latest release “Hold Your Hand,” out now. Channeling the excitement and contagious affection that comes with the feeling of falling in love, “Hold Your Hand” is a playfully upbeat cut that’s rich in soulful vocals and vivacious guitar riffs. With his penchant for infusing electronic elements with his R&B-influenced vocals, “Hold Your Hand” only continues to solidify JAHKOY’s signature “bipolar sound.”

DESTROYER

Following the release of latest single ‘Times Square’ taken from Destroyer’s critically acclaimed upcoming album Poison Season, there’s now a video. While the title and the song are both about Times Square the video was shot elsewhere. Realizing they didn’t have to shoot in the NYC landmark director Shayne Ehman wanted to shoot in natural light. And what did we get? An experience that looks like Wallace & Gromit meet Adult Swim.

GRiZ

We just saw GRiZ tear it up on-stage at Imagine Music Festival this past weekend. The smooth sound of his saxophone is sure to get you through the day and definitely help shake off those Monday blues (unless you’re running off pure adrenaline… Or coffee). The Erykah Badu samples are a nice touch and together, GRiZ and Eric Bloom create audible magic on this track.

BEN RECTOR

Nashville-based Ben Rector released his new album Brand New via Aptly Named Recordings, distributed by Caroline. The record, which hit #2 on the iTunes Pop Chart when the pre-order launched earlier this month, second only to Taylor Swift, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Chart, #3 on the Overall Album Chart, and #4 on the Indie Chart. He has independently sold over 250,000 albums and 2 million single-song downloads, and has landed Top 20 on the Billboard 200 Chart several times. Rector is set to embark on a headlining tour this fall. On September 1stBen will perform on FOX’s Good Day New York. Tune in to hear him play his new song “Paris” – PRESS HERE to watch the official music video.

Now, the awesome thing about the artists we chose? 5 out of the 7 will be coming to Atlanta. We don’t have any tour dates for Jahkoy and GRiZ was here this past weekend for Imagine Festival (which was epic). So if you like what you heard you’ll be able to see them live very soon in ATL.

Tell us which song you enjoyed the most and if it helped you get through Monday 🙂
