Atlanta United returns to action Sunday afternoon to take on Eastern Conference opponent NYCFC at Yankee Stadium for the first-ever meeting between the two clubs. After setting an MLS record for the highest combined attendance (147,230) through a club’s first three home games last Sunday against Chicago, Atlanta returns to the road for the fifth times in six matches on Sunday. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 4 p.m. EST and will be televised nationally on Univision. The game is available in English via SAP. For more information on how to access SAP visit here.

Atlanta (3-3-2) is coming off a 3-1 defeat to D.C. United on April 30 at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The home side created multiple chances in the first 15 minutes of the match, but only converted one when Kenwyne Jones netted his second goal of the season in the ninth minute to take a 1-0 lead.  D.C. equalized in the 25th minute and later took the lead in the 36th minute when Luciano Acosta scored from outside of the box. Sebastien Le Toux tallied his second goal of the season in the 55th minute to give D.C. a two-goal advantage.

Without star striker David Villa, NYCFC (4-3-1) edged Columbus Crew 3-2 on the road at MAPFRE Stadium on April 29. Led by Jack Harrison’s brace, the visitors battled back from a 2-1 deficit in the second half to pick up their second road win of the season. NYCFC took the lead in the ninth minute when Harrison chipped Columbus goalkeeper Zack Steffen, but Crew SC responded with goals from Federico Higuain and leading goal-scorer Ola Kamara. However, a header from Yangel Herrera in the 64th and Harrison’s second goal of the night in the 76th was enough to pick up three points on the road.
