Atlanta United returns to action on Saturday, April 21, when it visits Los Angeles Galaxy at StubHub Center in Carson, California. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 10:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on FOX Sports Southeast.

Atlanta United drew Eastern Conference leader New York City FC 2-2 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on April 15, extending the club’s unbeaten streak to five games. Defender Greg Garza scored his first goal of the season in the 29th minute to give Atlanta the early lead, however, David Villa would level the score from the penalty spot in the 38th minute. A Darlington Nagbe strike just before the half beat goalkeeper Sean Johnson, but the goal was disallowed after VAR ruled Josef Martinez offside on the play. Atlanta defender Chris McCann headed home a Miguel Almirón cross for his first goal for the club in the 56th minute, yet NYCFC midfielder Alex Ring tied the match again in the 73rd minute, beating Brad Guzan with a shot from about 25 yards.

LA Galaxy earned a 1-0 road victory at Toyota Park in Chicago on April 14. New signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his first start with LA and scored the game’s only goal in first-half stoppage time, heading in an Ashley Cole cross. The Swedish forward now has three goals in three matches.
