On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17th, City Winery is hosting a Jazz and Blues Father’s Day brunch. Music lovers are invited to nosh on an unlimited brunch buffet created by Executive Chef Nick Anderson while taking in the smooth jazz and blues sounds of Mose Davis Trio, Leonard Julien III Rhonda Thomas and Simone Torres. On Tuesday, June 19th, Ponce City Market’s Posman Books and City Winery have once again teamed up for Books & Booze, a monthly free event hosted by Posman Books’ General Manager, Marc Stiles at the popular urban winery.  Featuring lively discussions among fellow readers, June’s selection is Call Me by Your Name by American writer André Aciman, a novel centered on a blossoming romantic relationship between an intellectually precocious and curious 17-year-old American-Italian Jewish boy named Elio Perlman and a visiting 24-year-old American Jewish scholar named Oliver in 1980s Italy. The novel chronicles their summer romance and the 20 years that follow.  Literature lovers can purchase their copy of the month’s selection from Posman Books.  Imbibers can also enjoy the featured literary libation, The Bridge, made with peach brandy, Creole Shrubb, and lemon juice. Starts at 7 p.m. Free event.

On Thursday, June 28th, City Winery hosts an Iconic Women Winemakers event celebrating women winemakers with tastings of six different wines crafted by some of the most talented women in the industry. Hosted by City Winery’s Assistant Winemaker, Faith Drew, certified Sommelier Briana Pope-Pettis, and Stephanie Northrup, guests are in for a delicious and educational evening, including a special tasting of Faith Drew’s very own 2017 Stainless Steel Chardonnay, made on-site at City Winery Atlanta.  The evening also includes a mouthwatering assortment of light bites created by Chef Nick Anderson just for the occasion. Starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50, plus applicable fees.

On Saturday, June 30thHip Hop Yoga Warriors & Mimosas returns to City Winery.  Yoga lovers of all levels are invited to enjoy a 60-minute energizing flow led by instructor Jaimee Ratliff, set to favorite hip-hop tunes by a live DJ.  Mimosas will be served after class and wellness goodies will be raffled to attendees.  Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mats. Tickets are $25, plus applicable fees
