“Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” previously under the working title Rocket City Revival, follows the lives of three successful and powerful African American couples in the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama who come together to help revitalize the region through their joint real estate venture – The Comeback Group.
The eight-episode series will feature Melody and Martell Holt, Marsau and LaTisha Scott and soon-to-be-married duo, Maurice Scott and Kimmi Grant. The group are longtime friends whose goals are to put Huntsville back on the map but must navigate through the realities of dealing with love and marriage while attempting to focus on making this huge undertaking a success.
There will be plenty of laughs, tears and even a wedding, as the group tries to balance their careers, families and social lives and attempt to transform both the city and their relationships to achieve their ultimate dreams.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” will premiere Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

OMG! I cannot deal with Marsau Scott. He is so controlling it’s disgusting. He wants to keep his wife in the house with the kids like shes some indentured servant. Pisses me off. Women can do more than stay at home and watch kids…uggggg
She had 3 kids and agreed to it, though…
Well, watching over your own kids is not “indenture servitude”. Perhaps instead of just agreeing to be a stay-at-home wife and mother, she should have been honest with him from the beginning or maybe come up with a compromise like when the kids reach a certain age, she will go back to the workforce.
People only do what u allow…..evidently she accepted it. She’s been married long enough to know how he is!

To me, LaTisha and Kimmi are frienemies to Melody – the constant shading of her is a sign of jealousy. She is smart, ambious, beautiful and a great wife & mom who is learning how to balance it all. However, Melody is no punk…. I jumped up and screamed when she got fed up with the ladies pettiness – telling them to exit her home. The only advice I would give Melody is to make her husband a priority – she doesnt have 3 kids, she has 4. Its evident that Martell loves her and his children – him stepping out was the result of him seeking the attention he wasnt getting at home. It is unfair that so much responsibility falls on the shoulders of women – but, she can handle it because God built us that way.
I completely agree with you, I also think Tisha can be very shady and nasty at times and then will turn around and act like she’s done nothing wrong. I didnt like how they ganged up on Melody for not wanting to accept the title that they thought she should have. Just because someone views you a certain way doesnt meant that you have to accept their opinion. Those ladies are sometimey and Melody needs to find some new besties.
I agree 100% with you. Watch LaTisha, she is the most shadiest of the women – probably because she not living her best life whereas the other women are doing their thing, with the support of their partners. Stay tuned….
Well…I think Tisha is not necessarily “shady” but she comes off as a woman who has indeed been stuck in the house for too long without getting out to be social or keeping up with what’s going on in her field of interest because her approach is more of a “mother’s” approach or someone that is “wet behind the ears” as oppose to a sophisticated, educated woman that had SOME exposure to the outside world of her house. She takes things TOO personally as if business is ran like a home, and seemed to have forgotten that WORK IS WORK not based on PERSONAL feelings and emotions. So she reacts based off of those feelings and then come of shady. All of her questioning at the wrong time and place is what a kid that doesn’t know any better would do…again…like a person that has not been around her peers for too long so she comes off as being unpolished.
No!!! You must not be watching, Melody acts like she’s better then everyone and her husband is a cheater!!! You can’t think you’re better and have all that going on!!! Plus Martell doesn’t care that he did it. If he hadn’t been caught, he’d still be doing it! LaTisha has no voice, and Marsau is a jerk!!! I like Maurice and Kimmi, they’re genuinely in love with each other!!! It’s hard to believe Marsau and Maurice are brothers!!!
I’m disappointed in this show…the trailer gave us upwardly mobile African Americans making it in business…all we get is a watered down version of a love and hip hop show…sex. Sex. and money.
Tisha keeps trying to convince herself to go along with her husband’s selfish view. It is so obvious. Marsau is a selfish narrow minded needs to grow up a$$hole. Money and a nice-type life makes it easy for Tisha to tolerate Marsau pushing the “Role” model and his limited view of women, in general. I am certain if Marsau were a school teacher, she would not be a submissive stay-at-home mother.
Like her annoying squeaky voice or not, Martell committed adultery and does not really think he was wrong. Said “I’m not a cheater” in Episode 1. Down the line, he admits he was having an affair. Not to be trusted for sure. And Martell, just because you are over it (only because you got caught), does not mean Mel is.
The men on this program seem to have the strangest views about fidelity, women and who they really are as men. All three men might consider changing their perspective if it happened to them, if they were being cheated on.

I understand Mel… We, women, can “feel” when something’s not right & once infidelity visits, we feel it may rear it’s ugly head again & Martell acts like it’s cool, it happened, now get over it!!
Marsau is controlling & Tisha has no voice!!
Kimmee is outspoken & Maurice is cool.
The show is just Ok. I thought it would be more enterprising and show a better perspective on successful black couples but there’s far too much bickering.

I love this show.I don’t have a favorite but I do like Kim and Maurice as a couple overall every couple has its good and bad times but they seem to be more genuine. I just don’t like that Martel seems like it’s ok that he cheated on Melody.
I love the show. Successful black couples in relationships that are real. Melody is power driven but has a unfaithful man but is struggling to move on emotionally. Latisha is unhappy being a full time mom, who wants a career. Her husband is afraid she will be successful and leave, which is a ego trip. Kimmi is enjoying her new life: marriage, being in love and allowing herself to be okay, not be the head but the helpmate. Great show, a breath of fresh air.

Great show. I like Marsua and Latisha. They did agree that Latisha would stay home until their youngest was five. I think in along run Latisha will not regret staying home until her youngest is five.
I live the show.. my sister turned me on to it, now I’m hooked👍🏽👍🏽😘 all the guys are fine, particularly that Marsau, the ladies are fly.. I’m a fan of the show, can’t wait for season 2🤔🤔
