Golda Kombucha is pleased to announce the release of its’ Grapefruit Rosemary Kombucha infused with cannabidiol or better known as CBD. Not only will this be a first for Golda, but the state of Georgia’s beverage community as well. The new fermented tea will be available on January 08, 2019 at Cultured South and later in local retail stores.

Golda’s newest concoction contains locally integrated cannabidiol (CBD) – a non-psychoactive molecule found in cannabis, that’s extracted from leaves, resins, and flowers of hemp plants. Golda’s new product launch parallels with the Farm Bill that was passed last month. The bill legalized industrial hemp nationwide, including the hemp plants that are used to produce CBD oil, allowing companies, like Golda, to produce and distribute the CBD infused kombucha. Just like other Golda products, the new Grapefruit Rosemary brew will continue to aid wellness and will act as an anti-inflammatory product while treating chronic pain, anxiety and other therapeutic properties. Along with eight other fermented draft offerings, customers may find the CBD kombucha on tap starting Tuesday, January 08, 2019 with new flavors premiering as the seasons change throughout the year.

Since its inception in 2013, Golda Kombucha has pioneered kombucha on tap in Atlanta and integrated draft kombucha stations throughout the state of Georgia. The first of its kind in Georgia and one of the only three in the Southeast, the Cultured South taproom and brewery opened in May 2018. Visitors are able to taste, purchase and learn about the making of kombucha tea – a probiotic drink containing vitamins, acids, and live and active cultures to aid digestion, boost the immune system and energize the body.
