Celebrate the beauty of nature as a family at the Flower and Butterfly Festival on Saturday, June 1, at The Rock Ranch. Rescheduled from May 8 (Mother’s Day Weekend) due to weather, the festival will be the same as originally planned including free strawberry ice cream for all mothers. Mom’s often play a vital role in The Rock Ranch’s mission of “Growing Healthy Families”. Located about an hour south of Atlanta, The Rock Ranch is a 1,500-acre ranch created by Chick-fil-A founder, S. Truett Cathy, as a foster home for children. The ranch has evolved into a public destination that serves all families and groups. The ranch hosts corporate events, camps, lodging, school field trips, and public festival events.
In addition to this family fun destination’s offerings of more than 25 attractions, on Saturday, June 1, guests may enjoy pick-your-own flowers. Thousands of flowers have been planted for this occasion. Bring Your Own Vase (B.Y.O.V.). Guests will enjoy hand-feeding butterflies in a butterfly house and seeing a release of more than 300 beautiful butterflies at the end of the day (4:30 p.m.). The butterfly release is a unique photo op. Each Mom will receive a free strawberry ice cream. There also will be gardening and butterfly experts available for conversation and questions.

Hours of operation on Saturday, June 1, will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Rock Ranch Country Store will remain open until 5:30 p.m.
Admission is $14.99 per person plus tax for guests age 3 and older. Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.therockranch.ticketleap.com or at the gate on event days. Special pricing** is available for military, groups, and senior citizens. Annual passes are available for purchase and are a great option for families to be able to visit frequently.
