Blurring the lines between country, folk, indie, and rock, LA native  Desure unveils the video for his latest track “Los Angeles”. Directed by Collin Duddy, the video shows Desure monotonously sitting and unhappily staring at the camera while various backdrops of Los Angeles revolve around him. The visual is the perfect companion to the song’s clean lead, rustling acoustic guitar, wailing slide guitar, sunny spirit, and catchy confessional.

Josh Desure jumpstarted his career in the music business tour managing for Midland, hitting the road with the trio as they toured their debut album On the Rocks. After a last-minute opening stint for the band in Bakersfield, Desure hung up his tour-manager hat and decided to give music a real go.

One of Anjunabeats’ most sought after exports in recent years, London-based ilan Bluestone returns with the second release from his forthcoming We Are The Universe EP, “Hong Kong / Steeder,” available now.

First aired during ilan’s typically energized performance alongside Above & Beyond at the trio’s landmark Group Therapy 300 celebrations in Hong Kong last year, the abrasive bass grooves and tribal melodies of “Hong Kong” are clearly influenced by the Far East. Combined with the relentless euphoria of “Steeder,” the double A-side displays the punchy sound that ilan Bluestone has come to be known for.

Spencer Ludwig has teamed up with fellow New York artist, Zak Downtown, on his new single “My Nature,” which premiered via Spindle Magazine. This isn’t the first time Spencer has collaborated with Zak Downtown, who has amassed
over 30 million streams all independently. The duo met while collaborating as songwriters and as featured artists on Warner Case’s EP “Good Time Heart Dance”.

Formed by guitarist Matt Wignall (longtime Cold War Kids collaborator who produced their singles ‘Hospital Beds’ and ‘Hang Me Up To Dry’), WARGIRL’s music has been described as third world garage rock with afro-punk and reggae / Latin influences.

Led by singer Samantha Park (daughter of James Lafayette Parks, the leader of the 70s funk band Bull & The Matadors), WARGIRL’s lineup is rounded out by bassist Tamara Raye (who plays in a way that grooves like Tina Weymouth of Talking Heads/Tom Tom Club), keyboardist Enya Preston, dual percussionists Erick Diego Nieto and Jeff Suri, and Wignall on guitar.

Bristol’s one and only Axel Boy has his first release on Circus Records with “Got To My Head.” Having toured extensively in Europe, America, and Australia, his slick sound has been well honed and consistently proves to be resonant with crowds.
