Fox Theatre will host Mary Badham from “To Kill a Mockingbird” for special discussion July 14

Actress Mary Badham, who portrayed Scout Finch in the original “To Kill a Mockingbird” film, will visit the Fox Theatre for a question and answer session on Sunday, July 14 at the Marquee Club presented by Lexus. Prior to the screening of the film – which is part of the Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival series – guests will have the opportunity to ask the actress questions about the film, its impact and how she continues to spread knowledge about social injustice to future generations. This special event will be moderated by Chris Escobar, executive director for the Atlanta Film Society. Guests can also enjoy pre-show, locally sourced food from a seasonally rotating menu, access to private bars, restrooms and entrance to a rooftop view of Midtown’s iconic skyline. HOW:                          
Tickets are $40 (plus applicable fees) for nonmembers of the Marquee Club presented by Lexus and are available at foxtheatre.org. Guests must also purchase a ticket to the screening of the film. Tickets to the screening will be $8 until June 30, after which they will go up to $10 on July 1. Moviegoers will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the door for $12.
