Atlanta United returns to action Saturday night when it travels to face Philadelphia Union at Talen Energy Stadium in a clash of the top two teams in the Eastern Conference. The match is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX Sports Southeast.

This will be the sixth meeting all-time between the clubs and Atlanta’s third trip to Talen Energy Stadium. Atlanta owns a 3-0-2 record and has outscored the Union 11-4 combined over the five matches. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw March 17 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the first matchup this season. Josef Martinez leads Atlanta with five career goals against Philadelphia and the Venezuelan striker is riding an MLS record 12-game scoring streak in league play.

Atlanta is coming off its first U.S. Open Cup title after defeating Minnesota United FC 2-1 in front of a tournament final record crowd of 35,709 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Behind an own-goal and a game-winner from Pity Martinez, Atlanta won its third major trophy in club history, its second this season and also qualified for the 2020 Concacaf Champions League. Atlanta can clinch a berth in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs with a win against Philadelphia and an Orlando City loss or tie vs. San Jose Earthquakes.
