This New Year’s Eve, enjoy a music-filled night as GPB and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra present An ASO75 Concert, airing at 9:30 p.m. on GPB’s statewide television network and streaming at gpb.org/live.
The special provides an inside look at the Opening Night performance of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s 75th season, with insights on the program from Music Director Robert Spano. Highlights include the Prelude to Act I of Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnbergand Jennifer Higdon’s Concerto for Orchestra. Renowned violinist Joshua Bell joins the ASO in a performance of Wieniawski’s Second Violin Concerto.
