Georgia State Wins in Final Seconds of Home Opener

It was a beautiful evening on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Not just because of the weather, but because the Georgia State Panthers kicked off the new season of College Football. Atlanta fans have been craving College Football since it ended at the beginning of the year. Today’s opponent for the Panthers was Abilene Christian Wildcats.   After nearly 18 months of construction, the new home of the College Football Hall of Fame will open tomorrow, Saturday, August 23. Georgia Tech hosts Alabama A&M

  Saturday November 23, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets took on the Alabama A&M Bulldogs. It was the final game of the season for the Bulldogs and the penultimate game for the Yellow Jackets. It only took 3 minutes for Tech to get on the board with a 2-yard rush by Running Back Synjyn Days to take Tech up 7-0. Once the Bulldogs got the ball back Quarterback Terrence Pride threw an interception (by Tyler Marcodes) which then led to a Tech touchdown run by Zach Laskey. Georgia State vs. UL-Lafayette

This past Saturday the Georgia State Panthers took on the University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns. On the Cajuns first possession they weren’t able to make any progress, giving the ball to GSU on a punt. But on their second possession it took a mere 2 plays to get ULL on the board to make the game 7-0 in their favor. The Panthers were marching down the field in response to the Ragin’ Cajuns touchdown. Then on 3rd down inside the 10 yd line the Panthers fumbled and ULL recovered. Georgia Tech Celebrate Homecoming With a Win

Happy Homecoming! Georgia Tech opened their homecoming with a record of 5-3 (4-2 within the conference) and a load of confidence against a formidable Pittsburgh Panther squad. The Yellow Jackets were quick to put points on the board when Running Back David Sims rushed for a 12-yd touchdown. Their offensive force slowed down a bit once they got the ball back with a 3 play series that netted a mere 6 yards.
