Kevin Anderson, Brian Baker and Atlanta’s Donald Young begin play at BB&T Atlanta Open Monday
Sunday saw the second round of qualifying Men’s singles completed at the BB&T Atlanta Open Tennis Championships taking place at Atlantic Station. The tournament top seed John Isner is coming to town fresh off a victory in the finals of the Newport, RI tournament over Leyton Hewitt of Australia. While the event in Newport was played on grass Isner’s confidence will be all time high since he is now the top ranked American in the world.
Monday’s action will begin at 1pm with the final round of qualifying taking place to see which 4 players will gain entry in the main draw. First round play in singles and doubles will also begin today.
