The time is almost here ladies and gentlemen! The time where for one whole month, the entire world runs one 1 time-zone. That is because we are 24hrs. away from a worldwide party known as the World Cup! 😀 Now a lot of you who are not into soccer or the World Cup need to know why it’s so important.

I know its hard to believe (especially in the Southeast region of the US) but, there’s a big gigantic world that exists outside of the USA, and there’s a sport more popular than SEC Football (lol). Every 4 years the Olympics come around and people may not watch all of the events because some aren’t as exciting as others, but it’s still “GO USA!” Well, imagine if the Olympics only showed 1 event, 1 of the most exciting events, and aired it for a full month. THAT my friends is the World Cup. So don’t feel weird that your neighbors and well… the entire city will be going World Cup crazy for the next 31 days. Just as you might think its weird to be excited about soccer, everyone else in the world thinks we’re weird for measuring in inches, feet, and miles, and for spelling color, neighbor, and favorite without the “u” 😀 😉 LOL

Embrace the craziness as a chance to join the world in global celebration! Everyone around Atlanta and the rest of the country will be showing national pride so join them! 😉 You may be thinking, “I don’t know the first thing about soccer. Where should I go?” Well, we have that taken care of too! 🙂 Not only is there Atlanta Soccer Fest, but there’s a number of restaurants promoting specials just for the World Cup:

On June 22nd, join soccer fans from all over the city at Brookhaven Park for a full day of Soccer activities and World Cup fun! There will be races, kid’s activities, soccer drills, food trucks, and the following games:
