Belk Bowl Fan Central was the official fan party of the Belk Bowl and THE place to be the night before the game. After cheering on your school, along with cheerleaders, bands, and mascots, you had various options for entertainment: bars, restaurants, movie theaters, bowling, and many other attractions.
Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Belk is the country’s largest privately owned and operated department stores, located in 16 states, with over 24,000 associates. In 1888, 24 year-old William Henry Belk opened his first store with a vision, passion, and commitment. Now Belk is led by its third generation of leadership: Tim Belk, Chairman & CEO, and Johnny Belk, President and COO.
Belk is no stranger to giving. Here are a few examples of how Belk has given back to the community in 2014:
- $5 Million to University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Belk College of Business
- $315K to Susan G. Komen
- More than $300K to the American Heart Association
- More than $800K to local United Way chapters across Belk’s 16-state footprint
Tomorrow’s Belk Bowl will feature a clash of two solid teams, representing two different conferences, fighting for one trophy. Bank of America Stadium will host this epic ACC/SEC clash as the #20 Ranked Louisville Cardinals take on the #13 Ranked Georgia Bulldogs. We’ll have all the latest on the game and the history behind the Bowl for you tomorrow 😉
We hope to see you at the game!
