Goldenvoice, creators of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, announced today they have entered into a joint venture with the Hangout to promote and produce the Hangout Music Festival.
Hangout Music Festival is the first and only festival of its kind. The festival’s extraordinary beach backdrop and sandy walkways make Hangout Music Festival the premiere destination for music fans. The 3-day event is held annually each May in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The sixth festival installment will take place May 15-17, 2015 and will feature headliners Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band, Beck, My Morning Jacket, Skrillex, Paramore, Foster The People, Spoon and over 70 bands.
With the recent acquisition of Firefly Music Festival and launch of Big Barrel Country Music Festival, Goldenvoice adds Hangout to its growing portfolio of world class festivals which also include Coachella, Stagecoach, FYF Fest and more.
“When we visited the festival we were absolutely blown away. We haven’t found a fan or musician who doesn’t love this festival” said Paul Tollett, CEO of Goldenvoice.
“Goldenvoice has again handpicked an amazing property to add to our growing portfolio of the nation’s most important music festivals. We look forward to continuing to build this critical segment of our company,” said Jay Marciano, Chairman of AEG Live.
“From the beginning, the Hangout Music Festival’s main priority has been to create an incredible fan experience. By aligning ourselves with Goldenvoice, who produces top festivals including Coachella, we have found a partner that shares our vision in both fan experience and music programming. This partnership offers an exciting opportunity for the overall enhancement of Hangout,” said Shaul Zislin, Founder of Hangout Festival.
