It’s Monday yet again ladies and gents, but fret not! That means Music Monday has returned and we have more awesome music to share with you today:

DISCO FRIES FT. FATMAN SCOOP

Breakthrough artists Disco Fries are currently riding a wave of burgeoning international success as their signature fusion of dynamic pop and big-room electro sets them apart from the archetypal electronic dance template.  Blending trademark progressive basslines with classical and refined melodies, the North American duo are championing a sound that looks to become the veritable next big thing. Accompanying them on ‘Volume’ is internationally acclaimed hypeman, chart topper and multi Grammy award-winning Fatman Scoop, whose track ‘Be Faithful’ helped him soar to prominence in the early 2000s. Having collaborated with Skrillex, Bob Sinclar, Missy Elliott and the legendary Mariah Carey, the presence of Scoop on ‘Volume’ is undeniable.

ATMOSPHERE

Minneapolis hip hop duo, ATMOSPHERE – featuring Slug and Ant – are excited to announce their return to California this fall. The guys will headline three exclusive shows this November with special guests to be revealed soon! It was also announced today that they will be playing this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in LA on November 14th. Check out their video posted above.

STEVE AOKI

The fans’ votes have all been counted and it’s official: DJ Times magazine and Pioneer DJ are proud to announce that Steve Aoki has been voted America’s Best DJ for 2015. Steve will be taking over the honor from 2014 winner, Markus Schulz. Steve celebrates the announcement of the new album Neon Future Odyssey – out October 2nd – by debuting his new single “The Power of Now” with Headhunterz (above).

VANESSA CARLTON

Vanessa Carlton is thrilled to announce her fall tour in support of her much-anticipated NEW studio album, Liberman out October 23, 2015 in North America via Dine Alone Records. The ten songs on the upcoming album reflect Vanessa’s current state of mind since moving from NYC to Nashville, marrying husband John McCauley (Deer Tick) and having a baby girl.  The simple instrumentation mixed with her wistful vocals and poignant lyrics bring you into her world and showcase a new side to this accomplished songwriter. Above is her lyric video to the track “Willow.”

ROMAN GIANARTHUR

OK Lady is made up of re-imagined songs; painting vivid pictures with the iconic work of D’Angelo and Radiohead as his palette, Roman’s musical alchemy creates a transcendent release that transports listeners to a world all his own. Roman GianArthur is one of the many new artists that makeup the Wondaland Records family, founded by Janelle Monáe. Simply put, the track is nice!

DZEKO & TORRES FT. DELANEY JANE

A cover of Gigi D’Agostino’s classic dance anthem, Tiësto delivers a heart-stopping reimagining to Dzeko & Torres’ “L’Amour Toujours,” out now on Musical Freedom. Featuring the in-demand vocals of Delaney Jane, Dzeko & Torres’ electrifying track receives a Tiësto edit that playfully builds before jolting into melodic synths and a bouncing bass line. After being tapped by Tiësto as an act on the pulse of electronic music culture, Canadian production duo Dzeko & Torres have only continued to build upon their success. Their rolodex of accomplishments holds a series of standout releases, including their remix of ODESZA’s “All We Need” which hit #1 on Beatport Pulse, and their original “For You” which reached the top of Beatport’s progressive charts.

We hope you enjoy our picks for this week. Let us know what you think and be sure when you find an artist you like, follow them and support!
