Another week has come and gone, which means its time for another Music Monday to help get you through your day. If you’re in Atlanta we’re pretty sure these clouds, rain, and cold weather (sleep weather) aren’t helping either. We ended up skipping last week as we had music reviews to share with you plus the preparations for Tomorrowworld which…. Never happened. BUT! We’re kicking off our Music Monday this week with an EDM laced playlist starting with German duo Jewelz & Sparks! 😉

JEWELS & SPARKS

‘Mental’ is an unsurprisingly, unrelenting dance record that yet again elevates the caliber of Darklight Recordings’ output. The rolling beat, the punishing drums and crisp snares combined with a characteristically driving mid-section truly validates Jewelz & Sparks’ well earned status as producers to keep your eye out for. A forward-thinking move from label head Fedde Le Grand, ‘Mental’ is set to dominate dancefloors around the globe.

SWANKY TUNES & PLAYMORE

Get ready for this banger, ‘I Need U’, from Swanky Tunes & Playmore. One of fall’s hottest new tracks, this dynamic duo has really blown fans and DJs alike out of the water. ‘I Need U’ is a new cool unique sound that will catch your attention within the first few seconds.

Swanky Tunes is one talented group, with a reputation with tracks like ‘Send My Love’ and ‘Here We Go’, paired with the creative up & comer Playmore. This track will takeover the Main Stages of festivals across the globe. Already receiving support from the likes of Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Sander van Doorn and many more. Be on the look out for ‘I Need U’!

LOST KINGS FT. JESSAME

This jump from remixing to creating original tracks serves as a marker of the Lost King’s genuine musical talent, showcasing what they are really capable of when working entirely from scratch. Uplifting in every sense, from the chords to the lyrics, the boys have created a track laced with 80s disco vibes and catchy melodic hooks; the perfect remedy for the impending end-of-summer blues. Seamlessly combining Jessame’s soulful falsetto vocals with jiving piano chords and a playful melodic topline, the track bursts with color and texture at every turn. If ‘Bad’ is anything to go by, then big things should be expected of their highly anticipated EP release on 23rd October.

CHRIS LAKE

Kicking off his North America 2015 Tour earlier this month, artist Chris Lake returns to original productions with his single “Stranger,” out now on Ultra. With over one million records sold and a gold record to his name, Chris Lake has established himself as a curator of sound. A gifted and self taught multi-instrumentalist by the age of fourteen, Lake would hone his skills into a well-crafted career, gaining the reputation as a key innovator and tastemaker in the world of electronic music.

BORGEOUS & RYOS

Los Angeles’ Borgeous returns to Spinnin’ following the immense success of this year’s They Don’t Know UsZero Gravity and Lovestruck with another belter alongside erstwhile partner-in-crime, Ryos. Ryos came into the spotlight when he won the remix competition for Borgeous & Shaun Frank ft. Delaney Jane’s This Could Be Love earlier this year (over 1.5m plays to date), and has since also provided a remix for They Don’t Know Us. He is undoubtedly one to watch in the global EDM scene, making huge progress with each stellar release.
