On Tuesday, February 23, Bounce TV along with the Cast of “Saints and Sinners” held a media conference call for the show, which premieres Sunday, March 6 at 9pm ET.

“Saints and Sinners” is an hour-long drama centering on the Greater Hope Baptist Church. The church is the heartbeat of Cypress, GA, a small town outside of Atlanta that evolved into a city over the years. The plot is themed around a violent murder which rocks the community and the church that holds the secrets of the entire town is at risk of imploding. This show is a first original drama series on Bounce TV and features an all-star cast which includes:

· Vanessa Bell Calloway who plays Lady Ella Johnson
· Christian Keyes who plays Levi Sterling
· Gloria Rueben who plays Mayor Pamela Clayborne
· Keith Robinson who plays Miles Calloway
· Clifton Powell who plays Rex Fisher
· Jasmine Burke who plays Christie Johnson
· JD Williams who plays Jabari Morris
· Ofemo Omilami who plays Det. Noah St. Charles

Participants on the call were Vanessa Bell Calloway, Keith Robinson, and Clifton Powell, along with Moderators Tosha Whitten Griggs, Jalila Larsuel and Vice President of Bounce TV – Ri-Karlo Handy.

The 90 minute Teleconference really dealt with a wide range of topics regarding the shows plot, writing, soundtrack, cast experience, role preparation and the family environment at Bounce TV.

Bounce TV is all about good entertainment. They are the fastest-growing African-American (AA) network on television and airs on the broadcast signals of local television stations and corresponding cable carriage. The network features a programming mix of original and off-network series, theatrical motion pictures, specials, live sports and more. Vanessa Bell Calloway states, “We are not trying to change the Church or the World, we just want to provide good television.” The cast were happy to oblige our requests and are honored to be a part of the networks’ first scripted program.

Vanessa Bell Calloway is the lead of the cast and calls the show, “Devilishly Delicious” and insists that at this point in her career, “The work has to be fun, I need to be happy as I am a breast cancer survivor! When God blesses you so, you bless those open and loving to receive it back.” Her view on taking any job in her career has always been, “Accept the job, deliver, and do not show up with excuses.”
