After two successful years in Portland, OR, Pabst Blue Ribbon is taking the show on the road and expanding the Project Pabst music festival into three new cities in 2016. Along with Portland, the festivals will take place in Denver, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
Project Pabst in Portland has brought bands like Modest Mouse, Tears for Fears, Blondie, Weezer, Run The Jewels, Passion Pit and many more to the stage, and after a great response in Portland, it made sense to expand the festival to three additional locations.
Project Pabst offers a unique experience, incorporating music, art, hands-on experiences, as well as food and beer at reasonable non-festival prices. Aside from great bands, festival goers will be entertained with the PBRcade (an old school arcade), PBR Vandalism which is an interactive art experience utilizing a van as a canvas, and PBR Wax, which is a mobile studio where people can record their own demo of music and take away the recording on a vinyl 45. Additionally, a local artist from each city will be highlighted on a limited edition Project Pabst 16 oz. can.
Project Pabst returns to Portland, OR for the third year in a row, on August 26th, 27th and 28th. This year, Project Pabst will join forces with MusicfestNW combining the best elements of both festivals for MusicfestNW presents Project Pabst. The festival will incorporate two days of bands at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, and club shows at some of Portlands hottest venues.
The first Project Pabst is set for May 20-21 in Denver, CO. Day 1 will feature artists like Rocket from the Crypt, Dead Meadow, and The Giraffes. Day 2 will be a block party featuring Courtney Barnett, Violent Femmes, Big K.R.I.T., Fidlar, Small Black, and more. TICKETS
Atlanta will host this years third installment of Project Pabst on October 1st. The final stop will be in Philadelphia on October 8th.
