Atlanta United today announced the team has loaned forward Romario Williams and midfielder Jeffrey Otoo to USL affiliate Charleston Battery for the duration of the 2017 MLS Regular Season. 

Williams, 22, was the No. 3 pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft and was acquired by Atlanta via a trade with Montreal Impact on Dec. 11, 2016. Otoo, 19, signed with Atlanta United on June 1, 2016, and will return to Charleston on loan for the second-straight season.

Atlanta United will open its inaugural season on Sunday, March 5, against the New York Red Bulls at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The match will be televised live on FOX Sports 1 at 7:30 p.m.
