On Friday, Dec. 8, the Atlanta Hawks and Starter will reveal an exclusive 12-piece retail collection during a launch party at fashion boutique Wish ATL. The invitation-only event will showcase five cut-and-sew pieces, four t-shirts and three hats developed specifically for Atlanta fans by designers from Starter and the Hawks. Tastemakers from the world of sports, fashion, and entertainment will be in attendance as DJ Infamous provides the evening’s soundtrack.
Carl Banks, the former New York Giants star and two-time Super Bowl Champion responsible for the return of the iconic satin Starter jacket, joined Starter’s design team to collaborate with the Hawks for the fashion-forward collection. Banks will attend to celebrate the collection’s launch and discuss the partnership. The line features a mix of Atlanta styles, from vintage looks with retro logos to new designs and team colors. Philips Arena’s Hawks Shop, HawksShop.com and Wish ATL will carry the collection.
Wish for Kicks, an initiative Wish ATL created to donate new shoes to foster children associated with CHRIS 180, will receive all proceeds from in-store sales of items in the collection.
