Atlanta United returns to action on Saturday, July 7 when it takes on Philadelphia Union at Talen Energy Stadium in the second leg of a two-match road trip. Atlanta enters the match atop the Supporters’ Shield Standings (11-4-4, 37 points) while Philadelphia sits in eighth in the Eastern Conference (6-8-3, 21 points). The match is scheduled to kick-off at 7 p.m. EST and will be televised on FOX Sports Southeast.

Atlanta is coming off a 3-2 loss at FC Dallas on Wednesday night. Dallas scored first from a Rito Ziegler free kick in the 22nd minute, but Atlanta responded with a pair of goals from Josef Martinez in the 41st and 73rd minutes to take back the lead. The Venezuelan striker extended his MLS Golden Boot lead to six and has now scored 17 goals this season through 20 matches. Dallas substitute Tesho Akindele scored two goals in the game’s final five minutes to complete a late comeback win for the Western Conference leaders.

Philadelphia has lost three of four heading into Saturday’s match, the most recent of which was a 4-1 defeat at LAFC on June 30. Adama Diomande scored a hat trick for LAFC and Latif Blessing added another, while Fafa Picault scored Philadelphia’s only goal just before halftime.
