The Atlanta Dream extended their win streak to three games after a menacing victory Friday Night over the Indiana Fever 98-74. Their 24 point victory at home at McCamish Pavilion had Dream fans hopeful as the playoffs begin to take shape.
All 14 players, the entire Dream roster, saw minutes on the floor last night and 13 of the 14 put points on the board.
At the end of the first quarter, the Dream were down by two points. It was a competitive first quarter and it looked like we had ourselves a good matchup for the night. But the difference in the game came in the second quarter. Atlanta subdued the Fever with a 30-7 run and never looked back. After that second quarter drubbing, they would never trail again.

The victory is a big statement as they squeaked by the Fever in Indiana two weeks ago by four points. It was a bold move to use the entire roster on the floor Friday Night but that just shows how confident she is in her players.
Because the victory was so big and everyone was involved, no player had more than 16 points. That honor belonged to Tiffany Hayes, who’s been on fire this season and should be a WNBA All-Star or WNBA All-Defensive Team at the least. Elizabeth Williams is another player who’s had a magnificent season. She finished the night with 14 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Damiris Dantas took advantage of her minutes and notched 10 points, along with Angel McCoughtry, Jessica Breland, and Alex Bentley.
The Dream will play their third straight home game at McCamish Pavilion against the third-ranked Washington Mystics Sunday, July 15. The Dream beat the Mystics last Wednesday by a convincing 17 point margin. Hopefully, they can keep the momentum and notch their fourth straight win. The Dream are currently ranked second in the Eastern Conference at (11-9) with the Mystics in the top spot at (13-8).
