Atlanta United returns to action Wednesday when it travels to face FC Cincinnati for the club’s first visit to TQL Stadium. The match is set to kick-off at 8 p.m. ET and will be nationally broadcast on FS1/FOX Deportes.

  • Atlanta owns an all-time record of 3-1-1 against FC Cincinnati: 2-0-0 at home, 1-0-0 on the road and 0-1-0 at neutral venues in the series. This will be the first of three meetings between the teams during the regular season with the others coming at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sept. 15 (7 p.m., Bally Sports Southeast) and at TQL Stadium on Decision Day, Nov. 7 (3:30 p.m., Bally Sports South).
  • The first time Atlanta traveled to Cincinnati in 2019 it came away with a 2-0 victory at Nippert Stadium behind a brace from Josef Martinez, who leads Atlanta with three career goals against Cincinnati.
  • Atlanta interim head coach Rob Valentino will face Jaap Stam in his first MLS match in charge. Stam, in his second year with the Cincinnati, holds a career record of 7-19-7 in MLS.
  • Marcelino Moreno leads Atlanta with three goals and has added two assists this season. The Argentine midfielder also leads Atlanta in shots on goal (eight), duels won (106) fouls won (44) and possessions won (75).
