Music Monday: FENCES & Billy Strings, Anyma, Krimsonn, Skytech x LILO x Cappa, and Tokyo Machine

Singer-songwriter Christopher Mansfield (aka FENCES) has collaborated with Billy Strings, the singer, songwriter and musician who picked up the ‘Best Bluegrass Album’ award at last year’s Grammys. Fences recently released a new 5-track EP titled ‘Wide Eyed Elk Ensemble’ which built on the sounds of his previous effort, the critically acclaimed LP ‘Failure Sculptures.’

Pioneering musical concept Anyma, the brainchild of Tale Of Us’ Matteo Milleri, has unveiled new EP ‘Claire’, out now on Rose Avenue Records.

A three-track release, title track and EP opener ‘Claire’ sees Anyma deliver a sparkling dose of indie-electronica. Co-produced by Faroe Islands composer Janus Rasmussen, it’s steeped in emotion and punctuated by the haunting vocals written and sung by Delhia De France.

Krimsonn‘ new single “River Runs Dry” has just has been released via the first NFT-fueled label Purple Fly (it previously released singles from the likes ov BLVD., Shaquille O’Neal, Fatman Scoop, and more).

 There’s a new single from R3HAB’s label CYB3RPVNK. “Beggin’ For Thread” is an energetic, big-room house cover of Banks’s original song, coming from Polish producer and the label’s veteran Skytech, in collaboration with the South Korea-born, Sweden-based master of covers/reworks LILO and LA-based singer/songwriter Cappa (past collabs with SNBRN, Justin Caruso, TELYKast, etc). 

Enigmatic artist Tokyo Machine and Japanese power-group End of the World have joined forces on new single ‘Silver Lining’, out July 16th via Insomniac Records: Lost In Dreams.

Combining orchestral flourishes and mellifluous synth play with Tokyo Machine’swhispered vocals, ‘Silver Lining’ is a saccharine dance-pop jam brimming with infectious, feelgood energy. It follows ‘CANTINA’, Tokyo Machine’s recent collaborative single with the enigmatic Saxsquatch.
