Atlanta United returns to action Sunday as the club hosts Orlando City SC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The match is set to kick-off at 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and FS1, while fans can also tune-in to radio calls on 92.9 The Game, SiriusXM and La Mejor. 

  • Atlanta holds an all-time record of 8-4-7 against Orlando in MLS play: 3-2-4 at home and 5-2-3 on the road. This is the first of two meetings between the teams in 2024 as Atlanta will travel to Orlando on Decision Day.
  • Giorgos Giakoumakis recorded his first career MLS hat trick and was named MLS Player of the Matchday for his performance in the club’s 4-1 win against New England. The striker is averaging 0.92 Goals per 90 minutes, which ranks him second all-time in MLS among players who have scored at least 20 goals. He’s currently tied for first in goals scored in MLS with three.
  • Atlanta will look to strengthen its home record when scoring multiple goals on Sunday. When scoring two or more goals at home, the team owns an all-time record of 82-7-23.
  • Brad Guzan has recorded seven clean sheets against Orlando, the most against any opponent since he joined Atlanta in 2017.
  • Atlanta’s home crowd of 67,727 was the third-largest soccer crowd in the world on March 9 and the fifth-largest crowd of the weekend.
