A big change has been needed with young people and cyber safety. That change is how we activate kids and families to navigate safely online by empowering them with strong cyber hygiene and digital health. Behind this brilliant collaboration are proven community leaders in NBA All-Star Professional Pascal Siakam and Cyber guru Claudette McGowan.
Unbreakable is a global cyber learning program and online community designed to empower young people and families with essential digital safety skills. As a treat, each month Cyber Nations will be giving away a PlayStation 5. Visit the “SUS ALERT” page on the website to report any online scams you may come across. When you see something “sus” you can submit a report to be entered for a chance to win.
While I can sit here and write about the many accolades of Pascal’s NBA Journey and PS43 foundation, McGowan’s company Protexxa, and the non-profit Cyber Nations, are determined to positively impact communities and change lives worldwide.
Claudette McGowan spoke on November 20 at the Forbes CIO Summit in New York and shared great business success strategies
On November 19, Cyber Nations and PS43 hosted an intimate and interactive soft launch of Unbreakable in Manhattan, NYC. Those in attendance included McGowan, Cyber Nations Director of Operations Andrew Ward, and PS43 Foundation Executive Director Dakota Whyte. It was a stellar night filled with media, influencers, great food and even free swag.
PS43 Foundation is rooted in family by its very name. 43 is Pascal’s jersey number and also represents the four men in his life (father and three brothers) and three women (mother and two sisters). Pascal truly wants to inspire kids so they can achieve anything they want in life. Basketball has opened the doors to sharing his passion for life and serving others off the court. Whyte states, “So our overall mission is around advancing youth education thru digital literacy, STEAM, life skills, and mentorship for groups and organizations in North America, Africa and Worldwide. Our Founder, Pascal Siakam, truly believes in the power of education, that his dad instilled in his family. We are investing in the tech space, because we know we can reach more children thru the leverage of technology. Pascal will be super involved in this program with Cyber Nations and the youth will see a video from him when they open up the program.”
Cyber Nations Foundation is a global program designed to train over 100,000 learners in cybersecurity career paths, equipping them for future employment. Powered by Protexxa’s AI platform, the Unbreakable program will empower kids and parents to assess online safety, participate in cyber training webinars, and identify potential data breaches.

The program aims to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity literacy, a crucial skill in today’s digital age. Andrew Ward emphasized, “We want to scale Unbreakable to reach as many people as possible. Cybersecurity literacy is a fundamental right that’s often overlooked. By partnering with PS43 and leveraging Pascal Siakam’s influence, we can make cybersecurity more engaging and accessible to young people. This partnership combines the excitement of basketball with the seriousness of cybersecurity, creating a powerful combination.”
Now it’s time to play smart on the court and in the digital world.
