Awesome Con is Washington DC’s Pop Culture Con. It’s a star-studded celebration bringing over 60,000 fans together with their favorite comics, movies, television shows, books, toys, games, cosplay, and more. All ages will find something to love, from toddlers to teens to adults who refuse to grow up. The annual convention features an array of offerings for fans such as a Science Fair, Book Fair, Destination Cosplay, and much more.
Each year fans gather to watch specially selected short films in the categories of Comedy, Drama, Horror, Action, Science Fiction, Documentaries, and more. This year you can watch the films in The Screening Room located in Room 204. The Short Film Fest is being hosted by Madelyn Farris.

Imagine this: You’re dressed to the nines, chatting with fellow cosplayers, where you’re sure to spot other incredible craftsmanship, get tips, snap photos, and more! There’s new to-dos, as well as and tried-and-true excitement awaiting you in Destination Cosplay.

This year will welcome a plethora of video gaming experiences, creating the ultimate playground for the community.
