Following the Final Draw that revealed next year’s matchups, fans from the 42 qualified teams – and the 22 still in contention for the final six slots – have now discovered where and when their FIFA World Cup dream begins.

In a live broadcast from Washington, D.C. featuring FIFA Legends Ronaldo Nazário, Francesco Totti, Hristo Stoichkov and Alexi Lalas, FIFA President Gianni Infantino unveiled the tournament’s updated match schedule, designed to offer the best possible conditions for teams, spectators and fans following their nations around the world.

Atlanta has the privilege of hosting eight matches during the World Cup, including one Round of 16 match and one Semifinal.

The ATL will host two exciting matches for Spain, while also hosting two debutants, Uzbekistan and Cape Verde. An exciting match will take place when African giants Morocco face Haiti, who are making just their second World Cup appearance. Haiti’s qualifying roster has prominently featured local Atlanta talent Vixamar (Loucius) Don Deedson.

The Republic of South Africa and Saudi Arabia will also play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The winner among the playoff teams, consisting of Denmark, Macedonia, the Czech Republic, and Ireland, will face Bafana Bafana on Thursday, June 18. The winner of the playoff contest between DR Congo, Jamaica, and New Caledonia will face Uzbekistan on Saturday, June 27.
