Australian Open Wildcard Matches

1^st Round matches and Tennis World #1 Doubles Team Mike and Bob Bryan in action today at Australian Open Wildcard Tournament 

First round matches are set to commence today at the Australian Open Wildcard Tournament here in Atlanta at the Life Time Athletic and Tennis in Norcross, GA.  The tournament features the best men and women tennis players in the country competing for a main draw entry spot in the Australian Open which takes place January 14-27 in Melbourne, Australia.  This event will also feature great events that will include World #1 Doubles team of Mike and Bob Bryan.

Here is the schedule of play, court assignments and other scheduled events:

Friday December 14, 2012 Australian Open Match Schedule

Stadium Court:

1^st Match at 10am – Madison Keys (3) vs Bethanie Matek-Sands

2^nd Match at 2pm – Tim Smyczek (1) vs. Christian Harrison

Court 5:

1^st Match at 11:00am – Irina Falconi vs. Mallory Burdette (4)

2^nd Match at 1:00pm – Denis Kudla(2) vs. Chase Buchanan

Court 3:

1^st Match at 11:00am – Alexa Glatch(2) vs. Alison Riske

2^nd Match at 2pm- Bradley Klahn vs. Tennys Sandgren(4)

Court 2:

1^st Match at 10am – Julia Cohen(1) vs Grace Min

2^nd Match at 1pm – Daniel Kosakowski vs Rhyne Williams(3)

The tournament will also feature a Friday Night Exhibition with World #1 Doubles team the Bryan Brothers – Mike and Bob taking on some of the best players here in the state in the Battle of Georgia event.

The Peach Review™ will be on location at this tournament to provide a daily recap as well as player interviews.  Yesterday, the tournament invited all media to a great day with Mallory Burdette and lunch.  Thanks to USTA’s Pat Mitsch and Ron Cioffi for the great hospitality.
