We love uncovering amazing places that fly under the radar and deserve to be highlighted in our city. I was shocked to discover this building behind the High Museum and a block from Center Stage. So today, this precious gem comes in the form of a beautiful boutique hotel by the name of Artmore Hotel. The structure was originally used as a luxury apartment building in 1924 but now stands as an independent hotel, offering exemplary personal service and a long list of amenities.
This structure boasts a 1950’s look with a modern-day feel as this almost 100 year old structure has guest rooms featuring LCD TV’s, iPod docking stations, complimentary high speed internet access and more. The suites include extremely large living areas, refrigerators, microwaves, wet bars, and some even have full kitchens.

I personally love the location. You can see Atlantic Station from the meeting rooms and its in walking distance of Center Stage, Marta, and the Woodruff Arts Center. They serve a wonderful breakfast in the mornings to start your day and the decor is fabulous! It’s the perfect balance of modern-day technologies with the Turner Classic Movies. Like in the lobby there’s a giant flat-screen but its showing Casablanca. Or how you can walk into a 2-story suite and have a full kitchen with the latest appliances with artwork from the 50’s, a room with skylights and a flat panel television, or a newly renovated bathroom with a black and white photo of The Beatles.
Rates for single/double occupancy in a deluxe king or double bedded room range from $109-$139, One Bedroom Suites $159-$189, and a two bedroom suite from $219-$259. The best part is you get to experience Atlanta in a different way, boutique style! You’re supporting the little guy (Independent Hotels), you definitely won’t find another hotel with the same setup and design, and they offer packages that include free parking at local attractions, tickets to places like the High Museum, and romance packages as well.
If you’re the type of person that obsesses over rewards, reward points, credits, etc, then there’s no need to fear the “boutique hotel” title.
