Westside Provisions District Kicks Off District Design Week with A Really Good Strut

Atlanta’s superior fashion and design district celebrates sensational style and boutique brands this September

Westside Provisions District announces District Design Week, a premier fête of fall fashion and design featuring exclusive retailers from Atlanta’s westside, will be held Friday, September 6, through Friday, September 13. The inaugural event will strut to the scene as the southeast’s most illustrious design showcase, beginning with A Really Good Strut, a boutique runway show revealing the District’s authentic fall fashions on the westside bridge, on Friday, September 6, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The glitz and glam of the runway show will feature nationally renowned neighborhood retailers including Anthropologie, Billy Reid, Kayce Hughes, Lululemon, Free People, Calypso St. Barth, G. Gilbert, Steven Alan, Jack Spade and Atlanta Made. To accompany the dynamic mix of classic and couture fashions at A Really Good Strut, hair and makeup will be styled courtesy of Dragonfly Salon. Throughout the evening, guests will get an exclusive glimpse of fall fashions while enjoying light bites and seasonally inspired cocktails from District restaurants, as well as live music. Extended store hours will allow attendees the chance to snag items straight from the runway.

The Westside’s District Design Week will gain momentum as the week continues to engage the community in a slew of fashion festivities. Sought-after retailers will welcome friends and fashionistas with events including designer and home decor showcases, creative cocktail tastings, in-store raffles, happy hours, live music and one-of-a-kind makeover experiences. Highlights include Environment furniture’s exhibit with artist Roberto Detuesco, as well as Steven Alan’s all-day trunk show on Sunday, September 8, featuring designer Millicent of Artemis Design Company.
