Pre-BET Hip-Hop Awards Day Soirée at the Mandarin Hotel Buckhead
Mali Hunter along with Treesound Studios kicked off BET Hip-Hop Awards Weekend with a beautiful, sunlit, gathering in the gardens of the Mandarin Hotel in Buckhead. The function was brought together by Treesound, Def Jam, 3 Little Digs, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League super producers, and ASCAP. The venue for such a gathering was perfect as it promoted relaxation, casual conversation, and the food was great. The idea behind the event was to “celebrate the press and DJ’s that support our artists and communities.”
Leading up to the event was speculation and suspense, as many discovered it was invite only and the location wasn’t announced until the morning of the event. With an invitation that stressed an attire as “be yourself” and knowing it was hosted by Mali Hunter (one of the most positive people we know) you had the feeling it truly was going to be a relaxing experience (and that’s exactly what it turned out to be).
With Heineken at every turn and D’ussé tables inside and outdoors, it was easy to relax, meet someone new, and find a great place to absorb the sunshine and good vibes. Enjoy the photos and remember to watch the BET Hip-Hop Awards October 15th!
