As the weather turns cooler, Midtown’s quaint and cozy Artmore Hotel is heating things up in their courtyard and cocktail garden. “Stay & Play,” the Artmore’s new ongoing weeknight game series begins Thursday, November 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., complete with complimentary hot toddies, signature cocktails, fun and games for all.
Complete with the warmth of heaters and blankets in the Artmore Hotel’s intimate cocktail garden and beside the courtyard’s enchanting fire fountain, guests will snuggle up to sip a steamy hot apple toddy, an infusion of hot tea, honey, apple, lemon and smooth Canadian whiskey, and nibble passed hors d’ oeuvres. As a preview of the Stay & Play series, the evening will showcase the Artmore’s new game menu, set to be available every weeknight from 6 to 8 p.m.
Featuring classics and a few nostalgic favorites, the game menu includes Clue, Chess, Checkers, Jenga, Life, Monopoly, Pictionary, Scrabble and Uno. Guests may also order a deck of cards to play anything they please from bridge to rummy to slapjack. Each weeknight evening, Stay & Play will also offer one-of-a-kind cocktails including the Norma Jean, a mix of coconut tequila, vanilla vodka and crème de menthe; and starry lights, a bubbly blend of Citron vodka, fresh lemons, champagne and blue curacao. Along with the drink menu, guests may order from the Artmore’s signature grilled cheese menu that features a variety of artisan breads, cheeses and accompaniments to compose-your-own sandwich.
