PEOPLE CAME IN DROVES TO SUPPORT THE 2014 ATLANTA HAWKS CASINO NIGHT
On Sunday, February 9, our Atlanta Hawks hosted their annual Casino Night sponsored by Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort at Opera nightclub. Over 600 tickets were sold for this year’s Casino Night and the entire Hawks roster was in attendance. On top of the roster, team legends, coaches, and executives were present and interacted with guests throughout the night.
The Atlanta Hawks Foundation Casino Night fundraiser started back in 2001. Since the foundation’s beginning in 1988, it has contributed millions of dollars in monetary and in-kind donations to the Atlanta community. The foundation has 3 key focus areas: Education, Health & Wellness, and Recreation. To supplement these they came up with 3 programs in Scholarships, Charitable Giving, and Court Renovation.
Celebrity attendees included singer Monica, Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins, Takeo Spikes, David Banner, NBA Legend Dikembe Mutombo and many more! It was a fantastic event that was enjoyed by all and we saw first hand why it’s so important to the Atlanta community as it supports the Hawks’ Foundation vision.
