Well, there’s a group to combat that exact problem, Prissy Tomboy. Prissy Tomboy is an Atlanta-based lifestyle brand that promotes athleticism and a place for girls to feel empowered, recognized, and supported through sports and its first-ever Prissy Tomboy Adventure Challenge Camp Day in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
This inspiring organization has taken off like wildfire – hosting clinics and workshops and sponsoring young athletes across the Southeast and beyond, and hope through this event to further empower girls and parents to learn more about what is available to them in the world of girls’ athletics. Participants will experience an exciting challenge course, lunch, a yoga class, one-on-one beauty sessions, a red carpet photo-booth, giveaways, and an opportunity to hear from an expert panel on female athleticism and adventure tackling a variety of topics from motivation, finding your sport, health and hygiene, all the way to college recruitment tips straight from the recruiters.
