Adele coming to Atlanta for two nights, October 28 & 29

Adele will return to North America for her first tour in five years. The North American tour dates begin on July 5 in St. Paul, MN and will include a stop at Atlanta’s Philips Arena on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29. These dates will follow an already announced sold out tour of the U.K. and Europe.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, December 17 at 10am at live.adele.com/north-america/, Ticketmaster.com, Philips Arena Box Office, by phone (800-745-3000) and at all Ticketmaster outlets.

Adele recently played her first full concert in over 4 years at New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall.  This special ‘one night only’ performance was recorded for a TV special titled “Adele Live in New York City,” which airs tonight on NBC at 10pm EST/9pm CST.  The hour long special will feature songs from Adele’s catalog as well as behind the scenes footage of the evening coming together.

Adele released her third album 25 on November 20th and it went straight to #1 in over 100 countries around the world.  In the U.S., Adele’s 25 is the only album to sell over 3 million copies in one week and the only album to sell over a million albums in 2 separate weeks. 25 is the #1 album in the U.S for three consecutive weeks since its release.
