Following last year’s successful five-month run, Westside Provisions proudly announces the return of the Westside Provisions District Farmers Market on Sunday, April 10. Hosted in partnership with Community Farmers Markets, the outdoor market will be open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., through Sunday, December 18, and will feature fresh produce, baked goods, flowers and more from local farmers and artisans as well as District tenants.

WS Farmers MarketHosted in The Lane between Le Jardin Francais and lululemon, the market will feature 20 booths hosted by farmers, producers and artisans from across the state as well as various District tenants. Returning vendors include West Egg Cafe and Watsonia Farms, while new vendors include Little Fox Farm and Local Lands Farm. Stocked with the finest fresh produce, herbs, flowers, baked treats, breads and more, Westside Farmers Market draws thousands of Atlantans each week to enjoy an in-town, interactive shopping experience. In addition to shopping, the city’s top chefs will return for chef demos and tastings throughout the season.

“After a successful first market season, we are excited to provide fresh produce and local products to the Westside community for a second year,” says Community Farmers Markets coordinator and Westside resident Jamie Hausman. “We plan to expand our programming, outreach and impact this year with an extended season and expanded vendor list.”

Community Farmers Markets is an Atlanta-based organization that manages and operates farmers markets across the city with a focus on building a stronger local food system. Its mission is to preserve, root and grow a diverse local food culture by maintaining an authentic space for all people to share community, fair food and healthy lifestyles while providing a sustainable living for producers who steward the earth. Community Farmers Markets currently oversees the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market, Grant Park Farmers Market and Decatur Farmers Market. This season, they are also launching a farmers market at Ponce City Market.
