The Fox Theatre is pleased to announce the final movie selections which complete the 2016 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival held at the Fox Theatre. Joining such prestigious titles as “Citizen Kane” and “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” will be seminal boxing favorite “Rocky” on July 28 and “Jurassic Park” roaring into the theatre on August 18.

Rounding out the festival on August 27 will be Closing Night’s Fan Favorite selection. Hosted on the Fox Theatre’s Facebook page, fans of romance, comedy and classic movies are urged to campaign for their preferred genre of film. Whether a cinephile, lovesick or just love a good belly laugh, moviegoers may vote to see “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Notebook” or “Some Like It Hot” return to the big screen. Voting begins now until Friday, June 10, and winning movie title will be revealed on Monday, June 13. To vote, guests are invited to visit Facebook.com/TheFoxTheatreAtlanta.

Throughout the summer, modern and vintage movie classics will be shown on Fox Theatre’s 26-foot high x 56-foot-8-inch wide big screen, and patrons will enjoy movies under the “stars” with Fox Theatre’s distinct blue sky with twinkling stars and fluffy clouds. For select showings, Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival offers guests a magical pre-show experience that includes a sing-along with a vintage cartoon and the world renowned Mighty Mo organ.

In addition, Special Movie Tours will be available prior to all films with exception of Saturday Morning Cartoons and “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” Sing-a-Long. Guests will be allowed to experience guided tours through the projection booth, screening room, celebrity dressing rooms, and the iconic Fox Theatre stage while learning about the history of movie palaces and Mr. William Fox’s innovations.
