We are happy to announce we have published Issue 18, our summer issue. We have a lot to share with you so we hope you’re ready!
We have many exciting events to share like Beyoncé’s Formation Tour, The Birth of a Nation, the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, Dragon Con, new art exhibits, the most anticipated fashion show of the year, and even updates on our new MLS team.
We’ll help you out if you want to skip straight forward to your interest. Below you’ll see what’s on display at the High Museum and a musical we reviewed.
If you’ve been following our Beauty Expert Keisha Campbell, she shares her secrets on Activated Charcoal and replacing mositurizers with oils.
We had great events that took place towards the close of the summer. One was a comedy show from Bill Burr (which was hilarious) and the other two were Jeffrey Fashion Cares (the most anticipated fashion show annually) and Dragon Con.
We have lots of great movie reviews for you too! The Birth of a Nation was a very powerful cinematic experience while for the child in you, you might want to see The Storks.
Now our music section couldn’t possibly boom any harder than this! In a five-week period, Atlanta was blessed with the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour and a return visit from Beyoncé. The Queen displayed why her concerts are a must, and the Bad Boy concert made history. We also have Pilgrimage Music & Arts Festival and events from the Red Bull Music Academy Tour.
And finally, we end with sports. The U.S. Women’s National Team (soccer) played a friendly against The Netherlands at the Georgia Dome that was pretty exciting. We also saw the BB&T Open (tennis) and the TOUR Championship (golf). But the best of all? We have plenty of updates on our brand new MLS expansion team Atlanta United, including the new soccer field they’re building at Five Points Marta Station.
And there you have it! We hope you enjoyed our 18th issue and if you did, share across your socials. Happy reading and thank you for your continued support!
