Show us your panther pride and head to Peachtree Center for the most spirited event of the season! Grab your blue and white best and join Peachtree Center and Georgia State players, cheerleaders, and mascot Pounce in the courtyard for the Panthers’ first official pep rally before they take on the Tennessee State Tigers at the new Georgia State Stadium, formerly the Atlanta Braves’ Turner Field, on Aug. 31.
The GSU Pantherettes dancers and cheerleaders will put on a special performance in the courtyard and Pounce will be available for photos with fans as we celebrate the kick-off of college football season!
Peachtree Center and King of Pops will be handing out complimentary treats to the first 100 people dressed in Georgia State attire while a DJ spins tunes for a lunch break celebration. There will also be plenty of opportunities to win prizes during the GSU Athletics trivia contest!
Officials from Georgia State Athletics will be in attendance and available for interviews on kicking off the season in the exciting new stadium just south of Downtown Atlanta.
