South Korean, KPOP Artists, BTS made chart history this week as their new record, LOVE YOURSELF: ‘Her’ entered the Billboard HOT 200 chart at an impressive #7, making them the first KPOP artists to be able to make that claim. To further the chart-topping pop stars assault on the US Charts, their first single from this comeback project, “DNA” slides onto the HOT 100 at #85 as just announced by BILLBOARD Magazine

BTS reacted to this news by adding:  “As dedicated and passionate artists, BTS, we are thrilled at the success of LOVE YOURSELF: “Her” in its first week entering the Billboard HOT 200 at #7 and the HOT 100 at #85. It shows the impact we are making with our songs about love, relationships, and issues that affect our generation that makes it so amazing for us.  We love our fans and this shows us that they understand our message. We will continue to make great music that transcends languages and cultures.”

The US press has written extensively about BTS since last March 2016 when they came to the US to sold-out arena tours in cities such as Newark, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Outlets such as The New York Times, Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, CNN.com, VOGUE, People and the Associated Press, among others have taken notice at the US appeal of BTS.

The video for the single, “DNA” is at 60.1 million views as of today with even more streams on SPOTIFY.   Since the album’s’ release on September 18, 2017, the first track, “DNA” has been added to multiple Spotify playlists including Pop Rising, Mood Booster, Hot Rhythmic, and Teen Party.
