Hey everyone! Thanks for following us on this journey through ATL the past 5 years. We’re here to announce and celebrate our 20th Edition of The Peach Review®. We have a lot of awesomeness to share with you so let’s get started 😉
ARTS
We have a thriving art/cultural community here in Atlanta. Here we have a review of an Opera (Turandot), a Broadway show (The King and I) and two showcases at The High Museum.
Beauty
Oh yes, Keisha is back with some great tutorials (like THIS one). She has a great YouTube Channel with all kinds of reviews and tutorials on makeup and beauty routines.
Events
Our shooter (photographer) Kent Foster had one job, one! That job was to encompass all of the ‘awesome’ that was the 10 Year Greg Mabry Celebration with Bentley (and we think he did an EXCELLENT job). Start from here and enjoy reading about other events such as MomoCon, the Guardians of the Galaxy Red Carpet, Dragon Con, and the biggest fashion show of the year Jeffrey Fashion Cares! O_O
Movies
Movies, movies, and more movies! 😀 We had a lot of blockbusters over the summer and we tried not to overload you with too much (but if you remember, there was a lot to see). Here you can read reviews on such films as Detroit, Alien: Covenant, IT, Wonder Woman, Baby Driver, and much more!
Music
Our music section begins with an album review from YoAngie! of the powerful “4:44” album by Jay-Z, features a WCLK Special with Gregory Porter & Kandace Springs, and reviews the two-day greatness that Ed Sheeran delivered last month. You mean to tell us you didn’t know Gregory Porter was here? Or Ed Sheeran for two days? You better sign up (to the right of this article) for our email alerts! 😉
Sports
As you may have seen, we are 3/4 of the way through the MLS season with our new club Atlanta United and they have been smoking! But this is the South, so we had to open the sports section with our beloved Georgia Tech. College Football kicked off with the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game where Georgia Tech hosted Tennessee at the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. In this section, you can learn more about Atlanta United, relive the double overtime thriller with Georgia Tech, peep the Falcons start to their season, and the excitement of the BB&T Atlanta Open.
Recreation
We have only one feature this go-round and that’s the new Street Fighter IV Champion Edition for iOS by Capcom. It’s just like playing on a PlayStation or Xbox but on your iPhone, it’s truly incredible. The hotel reviews and YouTube videos will be back very soon.
We hope you enjoyed our 20th issue and thanks as always for your support! If you like what you see, share it across your socials. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Issuu, or to get the full HD quality reading experience download our mobile app on iTunes or Google Play 🙂
Happy reading!
