Austin based four-piece, Swimming With Bears is thrilled to announce their headlining tour of the US.  They are hitting major markets with opener, The Cuckoos. The tour kicks off in Dallas, TX on May 4th. Tickets will be on sale Friday, March 16th and can be purchased here:  Before they hit the road they will be in Austin, TX for multiple SXSW shows. See tour dates below.

Joe Perry from the band says, “”Ever since we got out of the studio we’ve been itching to tour.  We can’t wait to get back on the road and share French Girls with everyone.  We even have a few more new songs we’ll be trying out on this tour.  Can’t wait!”
This past month, Swimming with Bears released their new catchy, groove-laden single “French Girls.” The song has been getting praises from Alt Press to <em>Nylon, just to name a few.

Swimming With Bears – Joe Perry (vocals/bass), Alec Conte (guitar), Jon Kerr (guitar) and Ryan Hannasch (drums) – have been working tirelessly on new music as a calling card for their unique alternative-soul sound.

In 2016 they released their self-titled debut EP, featuring lead single “Shiver and Crawl,” which was produced by Matt Noveskey (Blue October).  Following the release, the band attracted quite a bit of attention. After being invited to open for Weezer and Panic! At The Disco they followed that up by embarking on their first ever national tour.

Then in 2017, the band went back in the studio to record more material with producer Gabe Simon (Dua Lipa, Kopecky).  The new fans they had made were clamoring for more.  Not ones to rush creativity, the band members were meticulous in the making of their new material.

Now with the release of “French Girls” fans can look forward to more new music throughout the year.
