“Birdsong,” the latest taste of Claptone’s forthcoming second album, Fantast, features vocals by the widely celebrated indie/electronic band, Zola Blood, the four-piece who in 2017 released their long-awaited debut album, ‘Infinite Games’, to significant acclaim. Sharing an ability to create emotive, textured songs, with ‘Birdsong’ both the band and Claptone have created a compelling piece of dancefloor-honed electronic pop.

Claptone is a unique proposition in modern music. Painted as a mythical character shrouded in mystery, Claptone has become one of the biggest names in electronic music whilst himself remaining in the shadows. He has however constantly sought to deepen his own distinctive world, creating a rich tapestry, which tells the Claptone story.

 

XIUHTEZCATL (pronounced ‘shoo-TEHZ-caht’)— 18-year-old Indigenous rapper and activist released his new single, “Young (ft. Nahko & Shailene Woodley).  The single is a featured track off his forthcoming debut full-length album, BREAK FREE, set to release this summer.

Speaking about the song, singer/songwriter Nahko says, “I speak from a very personally awakened space. It’s hard to talk about the raw stuff that didn’t serve you as a young man, but this track gave us the opportunity to go deeper within our own boundaries and reveal the beautiful mess that makes us human.” Actress/activist, Shailene Woodley shared, “It’s an honor to collaborate with and support my dear friend in spreading strong, thoughtful, and vital messages through his work as an artist and musician”.

 

Nashville’s Alt-pop artist, Megan Davies is thrilled to unveil the acoustic video for her inspiring new single “Doesn’t Matter.”

Megan says, “My newest single “Doesn’t Matter” was born on an acoustic guitar and perfected on tour the same way. I’m so excited to showcase it stripped down. With the addition of my producer, Mark Siegel & 2 cellists, it’s the most expressive and powerful acoustic release I’ve made to date.”
