Fast-rising festival force Ely Oaks has teamed up with dance music icon Steve Aoki and Scottish vocalist SACHA on their new single “Gravity,” out now via Aoki’s Dim Mak label. True to Ely’s signature up-tempo, dance-radio-ready sound, “Gravity” brings together three distinct sides of the dance music world on a single track. For Aoki, it follows his recent single “Young” with BIA and Destroy Lonely. For Ely Oaks, it arrives after a run that included an official remix of Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” (Republic/UMG) and a North American tour this past March. And for SACHA, it marks her first release of 2026, following a 16-show run alongside Armin van Buuren that began in February.
Rising alternative-pop artist Sophia Lynn is featured on the new Dirty Heads single “2 Young,” available now on all streaming platforms. The track marks a full-circle moment for the Huntington Beach native, who joins her father, Dirty Heads frontman Duddy B, on a song reflecting on growing up, change, and embracing life’s next chapter.
NYC-based art collective Bleed Electric, praised for genre-bending confessions of sound (“lusciously bent,” “eclectic,” “a cinematic prophecy”) — emerged from the shadows with the release of This Is My Masterpiece on October 31, 2025, exactly thirteen years after the EP’s original release, following a sudden and unexplained erasure of the project from the digital world. Now, Bleed Electric announces its highlight track “Gravity” official video.
Critically acclaimed multi-platinum songwriter, producer, and artist JP Clark releases his new single, “GONE,” available now on all streaming platforms. The track arrives as part of a special release from his longtime band 7715, marking the beginning of a project that revisits and reimagines the songs that first brought the group together.
Cautious Clay’s new album drops at the end of this month. The Hours: High Noon arrives on July 31 so be sure to keep an eye out! It’s the closing chapter in his Hours trilogy, following Morning and Night. Morning was structured and clear, Night went darker and looser, High Noon sits in between: warmer, grounded, reflective, with a touch of growth, perspective, and balance.
Sound-wise, it’s the alt-R&B/jazz/indie/soul Cautious is known for, now with reggae-tinged, downtempo textures. Different palette, same pen. Latest single “Green Screen (1PM)” is below and worth a listen. It’s the best way to cap this week’s playlist.
