Fast-rising Bluegrass star Billy Strings has just announced a lengthy 2018 FALL TOUR. The 22 date tour includes stops throughout the Midwest, Southwest, West Coast and Pacific Northwest. Keep an eye out for even more dates in the coming weeks.

The Michigan native and current Nashville resident along with his trusty band of pickers will be performing club, theater and a festival set from Wisconsin to California and most places in between.

Billy & company will perform a trio of shows for their first west coast Halloween swing. Stops in San Francisco, CA, Petaluma, CA and Seattle, WA are slated.

Moving on to November, the tour will roll through Michigan for the annual Thanksgiving Run. A highlight of the run will be two nights at Grand Rapids’ legendary The Intersection. Night one will feature support by Jon Stickley Trio. Night two has Larry Keel Experience set to open.

The tour wraps up in early December with three shows in Colorado. Denver, Boulder, and Manitou Springs are on the schedule. The Atlanta show is November 15 at Terminal West.

Billy Strings plays hard and he lives hard, picking so fast and intensely that he’s known to break multiple strings per song, and basing the songs he writes on the hard lives he grew up around in the abandoned rural communities of America. His new album, Turmoil & Tinfoil, taps into a deep vein of psychedelia in Americana, referencing everything from the Dead to Sturgill Simpson, but all underlaid by Billy’s undeniable virtuosity and his knowledge of the roots of American music. He’s one of the most beloved young bluegrass guitarists today within the bluegrass community, and his front porch in East Nashville is constantly filled up with Nashville’s best roots musicians just picking up a storm.
