Music Monday: Jonas Blue, Malu Trevejo, Ivy Adara, Bear Grillz, Matroda

Not content with having a summer smash hit with the glorious ‘Rise’ ft. Jack & Jack, unstoppable hit-maker Jonas Blue returns with an even bigger single, ‘Polaroid’, featuring Liam Payne and Nashville star Lennon Stella out now on Positiva via Virgin EMI. It is taken from his debut album ‘Blue’ which will be released in November

Produced by Jonas Blue and written by Jonas, JP Cooper, Sam Romans, and Ed Drewett, ‘Polaroid’ is a heaven-sent slice of R&B pop replete with a truly anthemic chorus and an irresistible groove. The video featuring Jonas, Liam, and Lennon, was shot in Manhattan.

Fifteen-year-old Cuban-born, Miami-based singer, artist, and dancer Malu Trevejo is turning up the heat with a brand new, bilingual single that sees the multi-platinum powerhouse teaming up with Cuban reggaeton superstars Gente de Zona. “Nadie Como Yo” out now via BMG, is a pulsing, infectious dance-floor ready track with a bright and vibrant video to match. The video debuted on Primer Impacto and Univision.com.

“Nadie Como Yo” translates to “There’s no one like me” and it’s something of a personal theme song for Malu. She hopes it will become the same for her fans. She dedicates the perseverance anthem to her legion of more than 8 million loyal social media followers from around the world who have watched her effortlessly push boundaries and transcend genres and cultures.

In less than a year’s time, Ivy Adara has gained over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify with only 3 songs released and amassed an incredibly impressive 70 million combined streams on her songs as both an artist and a writer collectively.

Since moving to LA from her native land down under, Ivy has been in the studio writing with and for artists such as Hailee Steinfield, Selena Gomez, Bebe Rexha, Jason DeRulo, Cheat Codes and Maggie Lindemann.

The second single off Bear Grillz’s TOO LOUD EP, sees the Colorado producer take his talent to skies on “TAKE OFF,” featuring notorious content creator Blake Webber. Webber steps in as the captain, on the aerial-themed single, providing play-by-play loudspeaker commentary while Bear Grillz navigates a plane through bass-fueled turbulence.

Coming off of a stacked summer, which included gigs at Dancefestopia, Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, and HARD Summer, Bear Grillz releases “TAKE OFF” as he embarks on his fall TOO LOUD Tour. Starting this week in San Francisco, the tour takes him across North America with stops in Honolulu, Montreal, and Miami, before wrapping things up with a home-state show in Boulder, Colorado and a set at Dim Mak Neighborhood in Chicago. Fans can expect to hear “TAKE OFF,” “Too Loud,” and more heavy sounds featured on his forthcoming TOO LOUD EP. (EXPLICIT CONTENT)
