Momocon is the convention that we like to say kicks off the convention season. They continue to grow in size and get better in quality and guests every year. This year one of the many guests we spoke with was Chris Sabat, the legendary voice actor who plays the role of Vegeta in the Dragon Ball series (as well as Piccolo, Yamcha, Mr. Popo, and many more).

Chris Sabat is an American voice actor, producer, line producer, and director at  Funimation. He provides voices for a number of English versions of Japanese anime series. Aside from Dragon Ball, his other major roles include Roronoa Zoro in the Funimation re-dub of One Piece, Kazuma Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho, Alex Louis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist, All Might in My Hero Academia and Daisuke Jigen in Lupin the Third. But don’t take it from us, hear it from the man himself! He’s extremely talented and a lot of fun.

Chris is our fourth guest in our PEOPLE series that we kicked off the first Friday of this month and will run through January. We began with actress Alex Paxton-Beesley, then Nancy Grace, and last week Chris’ partner on the Dragon Ball series Kyle Hebert (who voices Gohan).

Next week tune in for an inside look at gaming with Indie Game Developer Charlie Gilchrist and his video game “Ribbiting Saga.”
